Description
The Nextteq General Hydrocarbons Gas Detection Tube (NX160) is designed for the rapid detection and measurement of general hydrocarbon vapors from 50 to 1,400 ppm (as n-hexane) using the Nextteq manual sampling pump. With a single 100 mL pump stroke, a sampling time of approximately 1.5 minutes, and a distinct orange-to-yellowish green color change, the tube provides reliable, on-site monitoring for industrial hygiene, exposure assessment, and workplace safety applications. The tube also includes conversion factors for measuring common hydrocarbon vapors, including isobutane, pentane, heptane, octane, cyclohexane, and n-hexane.
