The Nextteq 1,3-Butadiene Tube No. NX113H provides direct measurement of 1,3-butadiene from 30–600 ppm using a single 100 mL pump stroke and a clear pale-yellow-to-white color change, with temperature correction required for accurate readings. With a 5 ppm detectable limit, 3-year shelf life, and 32–104°F operating range, this tube is well suited for workplace and process monitoring relative to the 2 ppm TLV-TWA guideline, noting that ammonia and hydrogen cyanide can produce similar stains and lead to higher readings, while carbon monoxide, saturated hydrocarbons, ethylene, propylene, and butylene produce distinct off-color stains.
