With a 3-year shelf life when stored under refrigerated conditions (32–50°F), a narrow 59–77°F operating range, and calibration by gas chromatography, this tube is well suited for workplace and process monitoring relative to the 0.5 ppm TLV-TWA guideline, noting that halogens and halogenated hydrocarbons can produce similar stains and lead to higher readings.
