The Nextteq Carbon Dioxide Tube No. NX117VVL provides direct measurement of carbon dioxide over two ranges—100–2,000 ppm with a single 100 mL pump stroke and 200–4,000 ppm with a ½ stroke (50 mL)—using a clear pink-to-yellow color change, with ½-stroke readings converted using a simple 2× formula. With a 5 ppm detectable limit at 100 mL, a 2-year shelf life, and a 32–104°F operating range, this tube is well suited for workplace and process monitoring relative to the 5,000 ppm TLV-TWA and 30,000 ppm TLV-STEL guidelines, noting that hydrogen cyanide can produce similar stains and higher readings, while hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and chlorine at specified levels do not affect accuracy.
