With a 10 ppm detectable limit, a 2-year shelf life when stored under refrigerated conditions (32–50°F), and a 32–104°F operating range, this tube is well suited for workplace and process monitoring relative to the very low 1 ppm TLV-TWA guideline, noting that sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide can produce similar stains and higher readings, while chlorine produces a distinct white stain.
