With a 0.3 ppm detectable limit at 400 mL, a 3-year refrigerated shelf life (32–50°F), and a 32–104°F operating range, this tube is well suited for workplace and process monitoring relative to the very low 1 ppm TLV-TWA guideline, noting that sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide can produce similar stains and higher readings, while chlorine produces a distinct pale-pink stain.
