About Jeffrey Duffy:

More than twenty-five years of experience in safety, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, toxicology, and environmental science.  My areas of expertise include Product Development, Regulatory Compliance (USOSHA, CALOSHA, MSHA, DOE, USEPA), Data Interpretation and Regulatory Submissions, Industrial Hygiene and Safety, Air Quality, Human Health Risk Assessment, Risk Communication, and General Toxicology

Oversight and review of a wide variety of IH activities including the management of site wide IH surveys at Navy/Marine facilities throughout the San Diego/Southern California region for a large Navy contract.  The work entailed the management and planning of the technicians performing the surveys along with review of the sampling activities and subsequent reports produced for these surveys.  The sampling activities involve the assessment of exposure to a variety of different health stressors including chemical vapors, mists, dusts, and gases as well as noise surveys and ergonomic evaluations.   

Also responsible for providing ongoing training and mentorship for IH technicians and junior level IH staff.  Acted as Industrial Hygiene lead for facilities in Asia (China, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore) and other sites throughout the world including the performance of Health and Safety audits and training.
